ModoSmart has vast experience in collaborative R&D projects with international partners. The company co-founders have been involved for years in R&D projects funded by the European Union as researchers and technical project managers.
ModoSmart builds on this experience and capitalizes on the know how constantly acquired in the scope of these international collaborations in order to bring on the market innovative devices and solutions based on advanced technologies.
The company is currently involved in in the project Smart, secure and user friendly heating monitoring and control for elderly people (SmartHeat), funded by the Active and Assisted Living Programme (AAL) and by Ministerio de Energía, Turismo y Agenda Digital (MINETAD), with number AAL-010000-2015-15. The project aims to leverage on modern IoT technologies in order to radically change the home heating experience for health, comfort and wellbeing of elderly people. Starting from the monitoring and control IoT devices designed by ModoSmart, the main objective of the project is to develop and bring on the market a complete solution specifically thought to facilitate the daily life of ageing people at home.
